All you lovers of the lame librarian look can calm down now – we’re not talking GOP moose-murdering election-loser Sarah Palin‘s chest, but rather her latest folly – abandoning her duties as Alaskan governor in favor of pursuing showbiz dollars.
Say what you like about Palin, she does attract attention. Maybe not always the positive variety; but, in the world of entertainment, limelight is neutral and always a career builder and booster.
Whether she lands a TV talk show, or a quasi-reality series like the equally irritating Octomom – “Hockeymom,” cameras catching her every goofy move – one thing is guaranteed: she will snuff out as surely as she flared up. She doesn’t have the chops for longevity outside B-list politics and wildlife hunting.
Palin is no character. She is nothing and no one of interest outwith being GOP’s odd choice. Her fifteen minutes are over. Anything else is just an ever-decreasing echo of the 2008 election candidate Republican blunder. The nation voted she not get a sixteenth minute.
She would be better served serving the people of remote Alaska. After all, show business already has a Palin in the likeness of Peggy Hill from cartoon series King of the Hill. And, before her failed running mate, John McCain, decides to follow suit, Cotton Hill got there before you, too.
