Twice Oscar nominated actor, producer Nicolas Cage has been slammed with a $6.2 million bill from the IRS for unpaid taxes in 2007. This is Nicolas’s second run in with the Internal Revenue Service, according to ABC News he agreed to pay $660,000, plus interest in back taxes and penalties, in September 2008, following allegations of improperly deducted personal expenses.
He was born Nicolas Kim Coppola in Long Beach, California, and is nephew of film director Francis Ford Coppola.

It seems amazing to me that Nicolas Cage is facing this tax bill right now. Firstly because its his second time in trouble with them in less than a year, you’d think he’d learn the lesson the first time….Don’t mess with the IRS.
Secondly, the guy makes $12 million per film, you’d think he could easily come up with the $6 million and change to satisfy the IRS. Could there be problems we don’t know about. Drugs? Gambling? Madoff?
