Shania Twain
Country singing sensation, Shania Twain, fills in on Paula Abdul‘s chair as a guest judge on talent show American Idol, during the auditions’ taping in Chicago on Aug. 30-31. She is the third such guest on the judging panel this season – Victoria Beckam (AKA, Posh Spice) took Paula’s vacant seat for the Boston auditions, while Mary J Blige hooked up with the Idol crew in Atlanta.
Shania, born Eilleen Regina Edwards in Ontario, Canada, had an impressive string of hit singles and albums during the decade 1993 to 2002. Digital Cheeseburger says, “Shania would make a fine permanent replacement for what’s her name…right, yeah Paula.”

I wish she’d permanently replace Paula. It would be cool to have someone awesome as a fulltime judge on AI.
