Mickey Fine Pharmacy & Grill in Beverly Hills

The Drug Enforcement Administration, at time of writing, is conducting a raid on Beverly Hills landmark Mickey Fine Pharmacy & Grill, 233 N. Roxbury Drive, searching for evidence of “improper dispensing of controlled substances,” in connection with Michael Jackson’s death.

MJ was a Mickey Fine customer for years, it’s where he purchased Demerol and other drugs, and was a main supply source for Michael’s plastic surgeon, Dr. Arnold Klein, and several other doctors who treated him. In 2007, Mickey Fine sued Michael for unpaid bills totaling over $100,000.

Mickey Fine, a family-owned business and originally one of the Schwab Pharmacies in the 1950’s where Hollywood talent was discovered, is featured in Starz comedy series, “Head Case”, boasts it’s the only original pharmacy with a soda fountain in all of Los Angeles.
