Michael Jackson is being forced to play the waiting game for his final resting place in the Great Mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.

Joe Jackson, MJ’s father, had initially announced the King of Pop’s birthday of August 29 as being the date of the funeral. Then it was pushed back to Aug. 31. But that date was scratched as it clashed with the day children return to school (why that is an issue, Digital Cheeseburger can’t fathom, as MJ’s kids of course would be excused from having to attend classes that day.) Now, September 3 has been slated as the day of Michael’s interment into the mausoleum’s Holly Terrace wall.
