The room at Hope, British Columbia, secluded The Thunderbird Motel where model, Jasmine Fiore's murder suspect and ex-husband, reality TV star Ryan Alexander Jenkins hanged body was discovered, ending a massive manhunt.

Murdered and mutilated model, Jasmine Fiore’s (below) suspected killer, Ryan Alexander Jenkins (above left), who’s been subject of an massive international manhunt, was found clad in jeans and a blue shirt and hanging from a coat rack by a belt in a British Columbia, Canada, budget, out-of-the-way motel room’s closet by the motel’s manager, Kevin Walker.

Three days earlier, an as yet unknown woman checked into The Thunderbird Motel (above right) in Hope, about 100 miles east of Vancouver, while an unidentified man remained in her PT Cruiser bearing Alberta license plates. After 20 minutes, she left motel room #2, drove away, and was never seen again. Walker described her as slim, about 115 pounds, five foot nine inches tall, and in her early to mid-20s

When no one checked out of the room, Walker entered it to discover an open laptop computer on the bed and Jenkins hanged body.

Nada Jenkins, still believes her son to be innocent:

“I think he panicked, my little boy, and we had to protect him, even now that he’s dead.”

According to friends of Fiore, a model working in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, she recently changed her surname to Kincaid, and accepted jobs such as being bodypainted at private parties, was also an aspiring actress who played a bit part in a low budget 2008 horror sci-fi movie, “The Abandoned.” It was her dream to open her own personal trainer business in L.A.

Jenkins, son of wealthy and prominent Canadian architect, Dan Jenkins of Jenkins and Associates, was a contestant on VH1 reality TV shows: “Megan Wants a Millionaire” and “I Love Money 3.” The network canceled Megan’s show last Friday, and has yet to decide whether or not to air the Money show. He had a rap sheet of domestic violence.

Jenkins and Fiore married days after first meeting in Las Vegas, but according to her mother, Lisa Lepore, the marriage was annulled within months. The couple later reunited. They checked into a San Diego hotel together on Aug. 13, but Jenkins left alone the following morning, and Fiore was never seen alive again.

It has been widely reported that Jenkins suffered from violent, jealous outbursts, and the night Fiore was last seen alive they had been seen arguing loudly over her having sent text messages to an ex-boyfriend. The final message the ex-beau received was “Suck it” – believed to have been sent by Jenkins, on Fiore’s cell phone, following her strangulation.

The investigation continues with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police trying to determine the timeline of events that led up to Jenkins being in the motel. Sgt. Duncan Pound of the RCMP’s border integrity unit announced:

“At this present time, the investigation into the circumstances of his death is continuing, but preliminary evidence suggests that he took his own life. Any further details will not be released at this time as this investigation remains in its infancy.”

Buena Park Police Department, California, are investigating to see if anyone helped Jenkins between the time of Foire’s murder and his body being found.

Farrah Emami, spokeswoman for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, had this to say:

“The murder charges against Jenkins have been dismissed and there are no other suspects in the case.”
