Convicted swindler, Bernard Madoff, 71, sentenced to serve 150 years for defrauding investors in his Ponzi scheme (the largest ever of its type) out of $65+ billion, is reported to be in the finals stages of cancer, although prison authorities are denying these reports. However, the New York Post and Wall Street Journalare not retracting their articles on Madoff popping 20 pills a day as he enter the final stages of pancreatic cancer.
The Prisons Bureau insists the Post article to be “full of inaccuracies.”
His lawyer, and his his wife’s, Ruth, lawyer both failed to confirm or deny the reports.
Digital Cheeseburger suggests he apply for transfer to a Scottish prison, then claim freedom on compassionate grounds, just like convicted Libyan bomber, Abdel Basset Ali al-Megrahi!
