Celebrity club DJ, Adam Goldstein, better known as DJ AM, has been found dead in his New York City apartment today. He was 36 years-old, and, according to sources, drug paraphernalia was present.

He played private parties for celebrities like Jim Carrey, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Lopez, Ben Stiller, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, and Kate Hudson. He was a co-owner of the nightclub LAX, located inside the Luxor, Las Vegas.

His former fiancees include Lionel Richie’s daughter and reality TV star, Nicole Richie, and singer / actress Mandy Moore. In 2008, along with Travis Barker, he survived the South Carolina Learjet 60 crash, in which four people died.
