Just saw the highly unoriginal practical joke TV show “Punk’d” (think love child of “TV’s Bloopers & Practical Jokes” screwing with “Candid Camera“) which was scrapped by MTV and now can be seen on “TV Guide.” With its grown-up dudes giggling and squealing like French schoolgirls sipping on pink lemonade spritzers, Digital Cheeseburger is grateful to Punk’d for shining a light on why – oh, why?! – Britney’s ex, K-overFed, has landed a reality TV show. It’s not about content, but a means to pad a network’s schedule with some cheaply produced filler. Ah, smell the essence of reality TV.
