Well, factually-speaking, the headline should read: “Ed Hardy Guy Buys Jackson Death Mansion From Ed Hardy Guy.” Christian Audigier, 51, French fashion designer and entrepreneur, whose most recent venture is Ed Hardy, has bought his friend, Michael Jackson’s rented Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, mansion from Ed Hardy CEO, Hubert Guez. The 17,171 square feet pile on N. Carolwood Drive had a mindboggling $38 million price tag, last we heard. Audigier had initially planned on turning the mega-mansion into a museum, but will now throw open its doors every June, MJ’s death month, to present exhibits and shows honoring the King of Pop.

Audigier’s fashions turned him into almost an overnight icon to Hollywood’s biggest stars. Fans of his flamboyant tattoo-inspired urban street-wear include Britney Spears, Puff Daddy, Madonna, Mariah Carey, and Kanye West.

Perhaps when he gets the keys to the place in two weeks time, he will employ Ed Hardy douchebag fanatic Jon Gosselin, of “Jon & Kate Plus 8” infamy, as the pool boy, since Gosselin was recently hounding Audigier to give his under-qualified and under-achieved ass a job at the fashion house!
