A Bank of America Corp. branch in downtown Tampa, Florida, insisted to Steve Valdez, born without arms and wearing prosthetic hands, that he needed to produce a thumbprint to cash a check drawn on his wife’s account at the bank, even though he showed them two photo IDs. He left denied service.
