Curtis James Jackson III, better known as New York rapper 50 Cent, has crewed up with Robert Greene, author of “The 48 Laws of Power,” on a collaborated book, titled “The 50th Law.” The book shares lessons from 50 Cent’s life, particularly the value of what the authors call “intense realism” — seeing things for what they are, self-reliance, opportunism, authority, knowing when to be “bad” and confronting your own mortality. Presumably, this convicted former cocaine, heroine, and crack cocaine dealer turned rapper, a vociferous supporter of George W Bush with over 21 million album sales and a successful business brand “G-Unit” can, through his book, take us into other worldly wisdom. Enjoy the interview on MSNBC’s “Today” below.
