Wearing an orange vest instead of prison blues, convicted woman-beater and R&B singer, Chris Brown wielded yard tools as he cleared overgrown weeds and picked up trash at police horse stables in Richmond, near his home in Montpelier, Virginia. Brown, 20, was sentenced in California last month to five years’ probation, six months of community labor and a year of domestic violence counseling for February’s vicious attack on his then-girlfriend, R&B artist Rihanna.
