Legendary Canadian singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen, 75, collapsed onstage while performing “Bird On A Wire” at Velódromo Luis Puig in Valencia, Spain, on Friday.
As you can see in the video (below) Leonard gets to the bridge of the fourth song of the concert, then collapses as the saxophone solo starts. The musicians abandon their instruments and rush to his aid, before an ambulance takes him to Nueve de Octubre hospital, where he is diagnosed as suffering food poisoning and is released the following morning. He is expected to resume his tour tonight at the Palau Sant Jordi concert hall in Barcelona.
Digital Cheeseburger wishes Leonard well, he is a firm favorite of ours!
