TLC’s “Jon & Kate Plus 8” divorcee-to-be moved closer to becoming a talk show host, following the Warner Bros. TV Telepictures taping over the weekend of a pilot for a possibly syndicated daily program with co-host, Food Network’s celebrity chef Paula Deen. Gosselin says:

“I’ve been given the gift of gab, so why not use it?”

Digital Cheeseburger says, “Nagging a lame-brained husband like Jon Gosselin is not evidence of being gab-gifted. Following her lackluster performance guest co-hosting last week’s “The View,” it is astounding why Telepictures bothered filming the pilot at all. Guess, they’re hoping to trade off her current, and hopefully short-lived, notoriety as one-half of a tedious train wreck.” What do you think? Looking forward to tuning into talk show Kate?
