King of Pop fans in downtown Los Angeles (pictured left) took only two hours to snap up the 3,000 advance screening tickets for next month’s release of the Michael Jackson documentary movie “This Is It.”
Three days before tickets went on sale, MJ fans lined up outside the Nokia Theater in L.A. (video below)
Sales for the Sony film are strong worldwide, with more than 30,000 tickets sold within 24 hours in London, and Japan rang up more than $1 million in ticket sales revenue. Record sales were also recorded in France, Germany, Holland, Sweden, Belgium, and New Zealand.
