Recently fired from TLC‘s “Jon & Kate Plus 8” reality TV show, Jon Gosselin retaliated by affixing a trespass notice to his house should TLC attempt to further film his family, then proceeded to empty out the joint bank account he holds with his soon to be divorced wife, Kate Gosselin.
Kate, in turn, has retaliated, too. She’s hired famed lawyer Marty Singer to approach a Pennsylvania judge to hold Jon in contempt of court for withdrawing in excess of $200,000 from their account, leaving her with only $1,000.
Singer claims Jon’s attorney, Mark Heller, put him up to it in order to cover his legal fees, and went on to cite that the New York Supreme Court had previously dealt with Heller over “misconduct involving misrepresentations, deceit, abusive treatment of clients, fee gouging, neglect and willful failure to return unearned clients’ retainers.” Charges to which Heller had admitted to “professional misconduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation.”
Digital Cheeseburger believes a lame reality TV show is about to morph into a lame soap opera. Time for TLC to call it a wrap. Leave the dastardly dull duo to box it out in the courtroom, while the lawyers clean out their kid-selling bounty. Oh, yes, we like that showdown!
