Disgraced Republican House Majority Leader, Tom DeLay has stepped down from TV show “Dancing With The Stars,” citing stress fractures in both feet. The former Texas senator finished second-to-last with partner Cheryl Burke. On his Twitter account today he tweeted his relief to have “no stress fracture. It is a pre-stress fracture. I live for another day.”
Digital Cheeseburger notes: DeLay’s stint on the dance show will come in handy when he needs some nifty footwork evading inmates of the prison he’ll be thrown into, once his criminal violations of state campaign finance laws and money laundering case goes before a jury. However, we regret not seeing him strut his felonious stuff to Michael Jackson‘s “Smooth Criminal“!
