Convicted and sentenced to three years in federal prison for tax evasion, “Blades” trilogy actor Wesley Snipes, currently free on bail while appealing his sentence, has been bilked for millions-of-dollars by British investment company Imperial Consolidated, run by Lincoln Fraser and Jared Brook; both men are currently on trial in England for their part in the 3,000 vicitims $400 million scam. At this time, it is unknown how many millions Snipes was taken for.
Snipes was convicted of attempting to fraudulently obtain $11.4 million of tax refunds 1999-2001, and for willfully failing to file tax returns.
Digital Cheeseburger thinks this might well be a form of karmic retribution at play. Let’s be careful out there!
