Convict, Bernie Madoff, 71, the Ponzi scheme king serving 150 years in a North Carolina federal prison, got into a prison yard scuffle – and won! No the brawl wasn’t with a heavily sedated Phil Spector, but with another old geezer following a heated debate about of all things – the stock market! The verbal exchange turned physical with the other elderly guy pushing Madoff who retaliated by violently shoving his attacker to the ground and hovering intimidatingly over him. The downed dude scuttled off, and Madoff’s inmate cred rose.
Digital Cheeseburger wonders whether his attacker had invested a few contraband cigarettes in some Madoff prison scam, and wanted them back!
