Leona Lewis Assaulted At Book Signing (VIDEO)

Singer Leona Lewis, 24, was punched on the side of the head by a male fan at the Piccadilly branch of Waterstone’s bookshop in London, UK, during a book signing of her autobiography “Dreams,” in front of hundreds of her horrified fans.

An eye-witness, who saw the attack at close hand, said “He [the attacker] walked up there with the book, she signed it and, as she looked up, he just punched her.” Another claimed to have heard him, just after the attack, yell “‘I love you, Leona’ – and she [Lewis] screamed back: ‘I don’t love you.’”

Security tackled the man to the ground (pictured below) and Scotland Yard – London Metropolitan police – confirms they received the call at 4.35pm (GMT) Wednesday, and have arrested a 29 year-old man on Actual Bodily Harm charges.
