According to Connecticut court documents released Thursday, CBS‘ TV true crime show “48 Hours” producer Joe Halderman threatened to write a book about CBS / Worldwide Pants “The Late Show” talk show host David Letterman’s affairs with female staff, if he failed to pay Halderman, who has been charged with attempted grand larceny, $2 million in extortion money. Halderman has pleaded innocent of the charge.
