Only in L.A. could a dead man slumped over a chair be mistaken as a grisly Halloween decoration! 75 year-old Mostafa Mahmoud Zayed‘s decomposing corpse, shot in one eye, sat on the third-floor balcony of his apartment on Bora Bora Way, Marina del Rey, California, since Monday. Neighbors who admitted seeing the body on Monday, said “…but didn’t bother calling authorities because it looked like a Halloween dummy.”
Captain John Kades of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office said they received a call to the apartment building at 6:42 p.m. Thursday, and an autopsy will be held today to determine cause of death.
