Rock guitar legend Eric Clapton, 64, is recovering well at his home in England following emergency surgery to have gallstones removed.
The operation forced him to cancel his appearance at the 25th anniversary celebrations of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame concert at Madison Square Garden in New York. Jeff Beck took his place.
