Since Lo Bosworth made the move from “Laguna Beach” to “The Hills” alongside her pal Lauren Conrad, she’s seen roommates come and go, she’s seen guys break hearts and ladies get their hearts broken, and she even gave Justin Bobby his infamous nickname.
When “The Hills” comes to an end Tuesday at 10 p.m. on MTV, Bosworth thinks fans will remember it as a groundbreaking show, a sentiment echoed by Kristin Cavallari.
“I hope that people remember it as a show that was a guilty pleasure, of course, but really sort of paved the way for reality TV in general,” she told MTV News.
In fact, Bosworth said shows will come along and try to replace “The Hills,” but she thinks none will come close. “There was never a show like ‘The Hills’ before ‘The Hills,’ and so in that regard, it is something that is unique,” she said. “And I feel people will struggle to re-create exactly what we have been a part of. I’m happy about that.”
This season, Bosworth let fans into her life a bit more, filming at her job at Smashbox as well as bringing her boyfriend, Scott, on camera. She said being on the show has definitely meant that her life memories have been preserved for all time. “You know, I just hope that people look back on it fondly in the end,” she explained. “It’s like home movies!”
